The Freedom Revo team maintains a list of like minded or similar organizations that also seek to educate folks about liberty.  The list includes over 100 organizations and is a result of years of research.  Some of the groups are conservative, others are liberal, and still others are non-partisan like us.  The list includes news outlets, shopping outlets, events or attractions, military or veteran organizations, and legislative groups.  But, a lot of the list is academic organizations.

As part of our 2015 plan, we are looking to establish Freeom Revo Chapters in communities in the nation, including at schools.  These chapters will include some-what academic discussion groups.  However, The Freedom Revolutions mission will remain outside the traditional classroom setting for various reasons.

One reason is that we believe kids (and adults–for that matter), are more influenced by media than they are by schools.  The American Academy of Pediatrics says that “today’s children are spending an average of seven hours a day on entertainment media, including televisions, computers, phones and other electronic devices.” That’s more time than they spend with their parents and teachers combined according to the Kaiser Family Foundation.  So, if the old adage,”you are who you hang out with,” is true, kids reflect media more than they do their parents and teachers.

Another reason The Freedom Revolution is not focused on traditional education is because there are LOTS of other organizations that are.  Here is a short list of organizations that equip teachers and students to discuss America’s founding.  If you are a parent, teacher, or student, you may want to check out these groups.
